COMING UP

DARK FREQUENCY

A chilling new horror film from Shady Dawn Pictures director Ryan Callaway (seen on Prime, Tubi, and more), starring Marissa Malone, and a powerhouse ensemble cast.

After a near-fatal suicide attempt, troubled teen Mary (Madison Sovak) is sent to OASIS, a residential treatment center, where she hopes to heal. But something sinister lingers within its walls, and as Mary begins to uncover the truth, she realizes she may not make it out alive.

Marissa Malone portrays Emma Grace, a longtime resident of OASIS trapped at Level 2. Shaped by a chaotic home life and deep-seated trauma. Emma’s need for control makes her unpredictable—one moment disarmingly kind, the next fiercely combative. Her constant conflict with others keeps her from moving forward, but in a place like OASIS, standing still might be the most dangerous fate of all.

Dark Frequency is a haunting exploration of trauma, survival, and the unseen horrors that refuse to be ignored. Coming April 2025.

DRIVETRAIN

Set against the backdrop of personal conflict and strained relationships, the film follows Clara (played by Marissa Malone), a weapons dealer, and her ex-husband, a dedicated cop, whose lives diverged after their careers became irreconcilable. As they come face to face with their past, old tensions rise and forces them to reckon with the consequences of their choices.

PAST PROJECTS

A Night in Brooklyn

A gripping short film directed by Andi Avery, A Night in Brooklyn follows two women who lead double lives as cunning serial killers. Set in the dark, alluring streets of Brooklyn, the film reveals how the duo manipulates and ensnares unsuspecting men, luring them into their deadly trap.

As their charm and deception unfold, the story delves into the psychological games they play, exposing their cold, calculated motives.

Scream

A heartfelt short film directed by Ivan Tu, Scream a Coming-of-Age Film follows two girls, Sam (played by Marissa Malone) and Liza (played by Lalia Hays), who navigate the complexities of young love as they work together at an ice cream shop. Sam, bold and confident, contrasts with Liza, reserved and shy, but their bond grows stronger as they begin to understand each other in ways they never expected.

Set against the backdrop of a seemingly ordinary job, the film beautifully explores the emotional journey of discovering love and identity in a world full of uncertainty and change.

The Rimers of Eldritch

A powerful production directed by Peter Jensen, The Rimers of Eldritch is a gripping exploration of small-town life, human complexity, and the dark secrets that bind people together. Marissa Malone delivers a compelling dual performance as Evelyn Jackson, a mother caring for her child with a disability, and Lena Truit, a young girl caught in the web of the town's troubling dynamics.

Written by Lanford Wilson, The Rimers of Eldritch delves into the lives of the inhabitants of a decaying town, where isolation, judgment, and hidden truths intertwine. Evelyn’s strength and Lena’s vulnerability provide a poignant contrast, capturing the emotional depth of the play's raw, human storytelling.
